DIY - How To Make A Wine Rack

This DIY can help a lot of people, mostly on storage. Usually wine racks are for either display or storage use. For me, its a display piece which implies that you have class and appreciation for fine wine.

Anyway, this video is from Nuts and Bolts. As you may know, I already have them here on my blog. I tend to like their work since it is easy and not that expensive. They give instructions quite well enough for someone like me to follow.

DIY - Bookshelf In A Door

Now, I'm usually keen on DIYs that involve room makeovers and stuff but this video made me laugh. Yes its a great DIY about a bookshelf door and such but the one who really got me into this video is the guy hosting it. No, I'm not laughing at him because of his Australian accent but the way he does the video. He's so happy that his happiness can cure the sadness out of somebody by just being with him. I even believe that he can make you happy while you are getting fired from work. JOKE!

Anyway, I love the way he did this video. Showing the actual prices and demonstrating every aspect about the DIY. Although his tools are quite handy and some of us don't have that at all but still, he demonstrated it clearly and cheerfully enough to give us strength to make this DIY project.

Overall, the cost is doable and the effort needed is quite alright. If you guys wanna see more of his videos and stuff, his name is Rob Palmer of BetterHomeAus. You are gonna love his happy attitude and the way he makes the videos. Some DIY videos focus more on the finish product rather than the steps itself.

Here's the video guys. Enjoy~

Space Saving Furniture

Just as the title stated, this post is about space saving furniture. When I saw this video from one of my friends on Facebook, I couldn't stop myself from writing a little post and sharing it on my blog. I don't really have any details on the company itself so this isn't a promotional blog post.

Anyway, the videos features a great variety of furniture that will save a lot of space in your house. From the living room to the bedroom. Although, from then comments I've read about this, it seems the price isn't quite nice for us ordinary folks.

DIY - How To Make A Small Coffee Table

Like most of you, I love drinking coffee in the morning and its my buddy at night. Being a caffeine lover, I have a need for a coffee table but, with my salary being as it is right now, its not quite possible. So, I decided to make one instead. Saw a lot of DIY's on Youtube and this one caught my attention. Not only is it easy to do, the outcome looked rather fascinating. Perhaps it was the paint job but nonetheless, it was amazing.

Typically, a coffee table is rather small but solid. People usually put them in front of their sofas in the living room. For me though, its located in my bedroom since I work within my room. Having one there would be a sweet treat for me because it would complete my furniture line-up when I go to work at home. I believe with that by my side everyday, I can do my job better.

Anyway, the video posted below is by Arbortechwoodworking. Definite must see for those who are planning on making a small coffee table.

DIY - How To Paint Old Furniture

For my first blog post, I would like to talk about painting an old furniture by means of Do-It-Yourself style. Yes, it is rather easy and simple enough for people to do on a daily basis, that is why I'm sharing this to everyone. You don't need to pay somebody to do this stuff. This comes as a helping hand to people who don't really know how to do correctly.

The reason for this topic is because of an old cabinet I saw yesterday. There was really nothing wrong with its usability. The only thing bad about it is that, its old and the paint is almost gone. The owner of that old cabinet wanted to throw it away. Good thing, yours truly here came in and said a few things about furniture painting. I don't know if he really understood what I had to say to him at that time, but when I asked him if I could get that old furniture, he changed his mind and wanted to repaint it himself. Funny thing is that, he wanted my help on painting it. I told him about the many DIY's on the internet. I hope he does paint it. Such a waste to throw away furniture that is really still usable in the house. Anyway, this video I'm about to share is about how to paint old furniture and its from AussieMummySince07. I liked the video and it shows how to do it properly. Enjoy~

Hopefully, you've learned this lesson well and do it correctly. Again, this is not my video, its from AussieMummySince07. Check her out on Youtube.
